ABOUT ALEX
AL-AMEEN
Meet Alex.
Alex’s journey started early in his childhood, where he quickly developed a love for athletics. His early career in track and field led him to quickly become a county, and national champion within only a few years after starting.
His passion for sport shaped his adolescence and early adulthood, opening many doors within the UK and overseas. He has achieved gold medals at the national junior championships indoor hurdles (2008), placed in the final representing Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games, and a silver medal in Marrakesh in the African championships hurdles (2014). He has a degree in Sports Science which furthers his expertise in the field and in his training.
Alex has dedicated his career to professional athletics, as an Olympic-level 110 meter hurdler. He has previously represented Great Britain at Junior and Senior Level at Home Internationals. He now represents Nigeria in the 110 meter hurdles, where he was ranked Top 5 in Africa (2022).
Outside of professional athletics, Alex is building his personal brand to become a leader in the health and fitness space within the UK. Alex continues to have a impact on London’s youth, sharing his story and love for all things athletics and sport. He is passionate about helping junior athletes succeed and get placed into prestigious athletic programs both within the UK and abroad. He has worked across a number of modeling and media programs and continues to seek out additional partnerships in the space.
